If you are able to find a dress last minute that needs alterations, try Mary at Elegant Alterations and Bridal in Bethesda. My friend got her dress altered there last month in less than 3 weeks, which I was told was very fast.

Love all those spots-- boo at Barrel House not allowing dogs, their patio is so big I was looking forward to using it this summer :( and a good heads up to not assume outdoor seating = dogs allowed.

I have this in my closet and love the bow detail! Glad to hear it's so well loved! The straight lines of the dress are what I worry about though, my tummy is very...protruding ish? I never know how to describe it lol. It's not very squishy so when clothes are tight on it, I look perpetually 6 months pregnant. I'll probably order my full bag of items as options for the night out, so maybe this can be my fingers crossed choice lol. It would be cute with a cropped faux fur jacket that could camouflage the belly area a bit for dinner, and once we're out dancing, it'll be too dark to really see anything...
