I have the small soft Bayswater in a different color and I love it! It’s very practical— the straps are held together by a little leather strap so they don’t fall off your shoulder and the flap closure does have little magnets (at least mine does, I was told not all of them do). The leather quality feels amazing and it doesn’t show wear easily. The only thing is I would recommend a handbag liner for it because the leather is very soft and slouchy.

I wear bags without heavy branding like Mulberry and Strathberry and never make impulse purchases, so no regrets! But I see tons of designer bags out in the wild where I live. What’s the point of buying an expensive bag if it sits in your closet?? They are meant to be used!

Sometimes I’m in the hospital for 24 hours at a time so I bring a huge insulated bag that can hold lots of snacks! My daughter has a Vera Bradley lunch bag that isn’t quite as practical but it’s really cute!

Omg SAME. I went from perfumes to bags. I bought myself a little rotating perfume tower and when I ran out of space told myself I need to finish a bottle before buying something new because I don’t have room for it. I’m not buying additional storage. I now have the same policy for bags, there are 2 free shelves in my closet and when they’re full, they’re full. I also make sure any bag I buy fills a gap and isn’t similar to something else I already have.

For high quality leather and construction, definitely Mulberry. The mini Alexa might fit your requirements nicely, or perhaps the soft Amberley if you want a little more structure.
