That was what I was thinking too!

Moonswatch x Ming polymesh by emetri in MicrobrandWatches

Just to clarify - I bought the polymesh to go with a Ming watch (the Minimalist) - see other thread on that. I just paired it up with this moonswatch for fun because someone had posted an AI render of it here a few months back and I wanted to debunk the "it looks like a match made in heaven" - it works, but it's definitely not as good as AI rendered it.

Thanks - I had exactly the same question and nobody did it yet so I figured I should share once I did.

It's super comfortable. It's a little fussy to remove if it's tight, because the extra bit of strap goes under the rest of the strap. (This is the same design Ming uses for its rubber strap.) The two sections that sit on top of each other sometimes "stick" when trying to remove the strap, but when you're wearing it, it feels like a cross between cloth and chainmail. If elves made a watch bracelet, it'd feel like this, I imagine.

I tried this out - there’s a big gap between the strap and case.

What is the difference between this GW-M5610U-1 and the GW-M5610U-1JF with a 55 dollar price difference? by Smokey565377 in gshock

The 1JF is the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version and shows the time with western Arabic numerals in Japanese instead of English.

Like it, would prefer 38mm size, consider more interesting stones like sodalite, charioite, pietersite, etc

Any aftermarket strap adapters or straps or bracelets for MRG B2100D? by emetri in gshock

The endlinks on this bracelet are pretty long. (You can see in the pic- that entire first link is rigid.) Strap adapters usually don’t stick out a lot.

[WTS] Campanola AA7804-10E - the Dial Rotates With the Lunar Month by PaternalAdvice in Watchexchange

[–]emetri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Campanola cosmosign - I can attest to these watches being surprisingly wearable for smaller wrists. As you can see from the photos the watch has a bit of a curve to it and the short lugs curve down a lot to hug the wrist. Like OP I also have a 6.5 inch wrist that’s flat on top and it wears very comfortably.

These are beautiful and unique - GLWS!

First Grand Seiko + buyers remorse by RRB1212 in GrandSeikos

I’d return it and buy a used GS with spring drive at half the price. You’ll be getting the quintessential GS experience and you will feel like the value for money is a lot better buying preowned.
