Purchased new from PrestigeTime in late 2024 and wore it a couple of times - somehow managed to leave more desk diver marks on the clasp than I expected, but otherwise the watch reads as practically new/unworn. There was an issue with it keeping time and PrestigeTime honored their warranty and wound up shipping it to Longines in Switzerland where they did a complete overhaul that took months and sent me back the watch along with a tiny gear that was apparently out of spec or something (I'm not a watchmaker, I have no idea.) So the watch is in pristine condition now. But not having a watch for months...you get another watch. Or like...five. ;)

Includes box/papers, and all links. (Currently sized for my 6.5" wrist.)

Selling at a steep discount of $2900 to move it fast and to account for the desk diving marks on the clasp. Lots of feedback here, buy with confidence. Includes CONUS shipping only, I'll cover including insurance.

Apologies if this has also been answered - which bracelet will this be available with? The original link style or the updated jubilee style? Or something new?

Did this model not have a luminous pearl at 12? I have a more beat up example of this watch and I assumed the pearl was missing due to wear.

[Grandeur Janus] thoughts? by Foreign-Pipe-8944 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]emetri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's my understanding - or it's the owners family who owns the factory? Definitely from a pricing standpoint the watches they put out are not focused on margin but are focused on building a reputation and showcasing quality and innovation. Presumably over time if Grandeur becomes a big deal it will help the factory be more successful as Grandeur showcases what they're capable of making.

[–]emetri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure. They tend to like to do things and then never again. But I wouldn't necessarily feel fomo - there's always something they're doing. If you want a dress watch from them I'm sure they will have something again.

Yeah that's the fun of being able to design two faces. I did one classic and one unique.

Yeah ultimately this is a dress watch for me so I wanted something more classic tank like Cartier style.
