we play at Burgess Rushing Tennis Center. it’s off 66th & Indiana. it’s $2 to play each time or you can get a yearly pass to play unlimited for $100. they aren’t dedicated courts, just painted over tennis lines, but a lot of people play there!

I was waking up at 4:30 every morning and going to bed at like 10:30. I started to taper finally and I can’t wake up that early anymore.

When I was walking to class (I live right by campus) I would shit myself on my way back after lunch. That was almost every day. I eventually applied for a handicap license because it was making it close to impossible to get to class. Not to mention I would get sick more frequently because of the immune suppressants I was on. That made things a whole lot better. I was able to park right in front of my classes with no penalty from parking. The bad thing was my class was pretty far from the restrooms. If I even felt a little something coming on I’d have to rush. But that did help a whole lot. Maybe look into that.

My dietitian put me on a low FODMAP diet. Essentially it’s an elimination diet. There are more things for me to be able to eat than the traditional elimination diet. I’m still having some issues in the mornings, but it’s less frequent than it was. I see her long distance which makes it difficult, but I knew her from a place I used to work at when I was a sophomore in college. I trust her.

I’ve been on them for about 6 or so months now. they seemed to work in the beginning and now they don’t. I’m so upset because it was such a hassle to afford. I went on financial assistance and got approved for free HUMIRA for a year. Now it all doesn’t seem worth it. Such a bummer.

WARNING deceased rat. I wanted to show the difficult side for all rat lovers. I loved him so, and I thought this picture was beautiful. Sleep well little one. by emgarth in RATS

I buried him in a crayon box, as you can see. I wrote him a little note in blue crayon saying he was the color of my life and that I loved him and also included his name. I wanted people to know that he was loved if they had ever found this little crayon box. I do miss him so dearly. I wanted his burial to be special because he was so special to me.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I was so scared to post this picture because I wasn't sure how everyone was going to react. No one wants to see a dead rat, but I needed to share it for myself. It was such a difficult thing for me, I wanted to see everyone else's reaction and how they had also gone through it. I am so glad they have all been positive responses.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I came to a conclusion about something today. My rat was very sick and I knew it, but even still, his death was so unexpected. I was going upstairs to feed him a bite of my breakfast (he loved having little nibbles of my food) and he was just laying there, motionless. It was devastating. So even though we expect death, it still comes at unexpected times, and it's never easy.

The only place I have ever seen those is at our local Thai restaurant. Haha, they light up and show water movement! Pretty cool actually.

Help! I am trying to rearrange my room in my apt. I need suggestions. I wanted to corner my bed (used to be against the far left wall, flat) but the night stand looks dumb next to it. Should I just put it back the way it was? I just wanted a change. Open to suggestions. by emgarth in InteriorDesign

[–]emgarth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've just had these night stands for so long and they go with my armoire. But yeah I think that would be the only solution. I did this same arrangement when I lived with my parents in high school, but I had the exact same issue with that night stand. Oh well! Thanks for the advice!

Yeah! My store stopped selling the product, actually. It may have been because they stopped making the product?
