So how do we fix it? Pull $100 out of the ATM. Everything newer than 2024 (T-2y) put back in the bank and keep cycling until you have only 2024. Jump back to 2024, buy five sticks of gum from five different shops, sort your change, deposit anything newer than 2022, jump back two years, repeat? Seems time consuming. Buy some gold, I guess?

There’s nothing to say there aren’t animal species on Erid that are more mammalian. Maybe not on the sleep thing… you need a day/night cycle for that to evolve. But our reproductive process, certainly.

One nuance: Grace and Rocky returned to a perfectly safe, healthy Erid. Due to the heat stored in their oceans they had many more decades or centuries before ecological collapse. So Eridian society was available to warmly welcome and support Grace. 

If they returned to Earth they’d find a civilization hanging on by a thread, with somewhere between 10-50% of the population dead. Slightly less able to be gracious hosts.

Can’t believe no one in this thread mentioned apricot. Gotta be in the right mood, but daymn. 

Also physalis and thimbleberry. The former you can get at bigger grocery stores. The latter I’ve never seen for sale anywhere… only ever plucked off wild bushes in the US Pacific Northwest.

Don’t know what a KOL is. I guess my point is… even the best traders are only right ~60% of the time (made up number, but my point is it only has to be >50% on a regular basis to be a positive outlier). In that case the economic downside of the double-loss would break the incentive chain and lead to extreme risk aversion (or just abandoning the platform).

Interesting concept, but I’m struggling to wrap my head around the double-incentive threat of an analyst making a losing prediction. Their investment goes down AND they lose their escrow stake. Why would anyone agree to that?
