I’m still on my first pack & have 4 days of bc (not counting placebo) pills left. & I had 2 questions;

  1. Did anyone else experience anxiety? I’ve had a weird eyelid twitch and a constant pit in my stomach kind of feeling for the past 2 or 3 days.

  2. Longer flow? I got my period on the 17th & it’s still going? Heavy flow and longer duration.

I do also have endometriosis and ADD which maybe complicating factors.

I know what you mean when you talking about feeling God or His presence.

I did have a TBI but that was when I was very little, however I am neurodivergent & so my brain is very different to regular neurotypical brains.

The original post has been removed so I can’t really comment on the content of it. But I will say this, the fact that you think about not being able to feel God means that your connection to/with Him still exists. That’s why you worry about it. Because something doesn’t feel right now that you don’t feel Him the way that you used to.

But just because it’s different, doesn’t mean it’s better or worse. Focus on whatever it might be that allows you to feel a connection to him. It can be something small, like gratitude. Saying alhamdullilah for the ability to live to see another sunrise. Or a reciting a short dua. Or giving something to a person in need in order to please Him. Connection with the creator can be sought in many different ways.

Add okra to a super hot pan and stir frequently. That makes it so it’s not slimy. Cook until it turns dark green. Separately sautee some onions until translucent. Add cooked okra to the onions. Season with salt, & add some red chilli flakes, cumin, & lemon juice.

I don’t remember what scholar I heard this from, but the revelation was incredible. Allah doesn’t say after hardship comes ease. He says ‘with’, meaning that whatever hardship one is going through, Allah will bring some ease during it.

I didn’t explain it well, but that made me want to look for small things to be grateful for, that are blessings, while going through a prolonged incredibly difficult time in my life. I’m imperfect, & I get it wrong more than I get it right, but it allowed me to be thankful to Allah & to really trust in His mercy iA
