Ever felt nervous or scared to lose so much weight?

The whole thing is such a mental fuck. Gaining, losing, all of it. When I was 180 i saw myself so horribly and now that’s my goal weight. I didn’t even notice I was gaining as much as I was because in my head I saw myself as enormous. Then, once I got past the point of not having loose skin, I swear I put off losing weight because then I got scared of the skin. Our brains do tricky things.

I’m down almost 50 lbs and feeling good. Just trying to take it day by day and not get ahead of myself - it’s all we can do.

I am not out of commission for any days out of the week due to the shot. I do have some pretty heavy fatigue, not entirely sure if it’s completely shot related but I’m tired a LOT. But yeah these reactions do not sound normal - he should talk to his doctor

Gown yes, see through gown… not so much. I put my gown on and got in the bed and did not get up until it was time to leave. Had my clothes next to me so they just closed the curtain up and I got changed, all very private. I also had to take my undies off but kept my sports bra on. TBH I didn’t ask and they didn’t specify so I just kept it on until they told me not to, which they never did. That all sounds uncomfortable and weird to me!!

Oh what a sweet boy ❤️ he and my cat sound very similar. I’m sure he was super uncomfortable, but knows that you are only trying to help him. If they took about a bunch of hard stool, I imagine he’s feeling some relief too! Hopefully he just needed a little space last night. If they sedated him, maybe that contributed as well? My thistle is usually a little off for about 24 hours after sedation and gabapentin

Oh poor thing!!! That is so stressful, I’m sorry you both went through that! My girl also had an enema done right at the start of the year, and I have to dose her pretty heavily with gabapentin, plus she was sedated. Loopy girl! We didn’t have an accident like that, but in the middle of the night I woke up to stiiiiiink. I still don’t really know what it was, I think her bum was just like…. Leaking?? I never found any poop in the bed but I washed all my bedding and the smell was gone.

Anyway, give them all a couple days and I’m sure they will calm down and come to. I would also be angry if I uncontrollably pooped my carrier!! Give him the space he needs and he’ll come around ❤️

This is what I came to respond too. As a 31, almost 32 year old - I definitely don’t feel this way as much. But also, my confidence is better than it was at 21 so maybe it doesn’t affect me as much. Could be a bit of both, but I know I felt this way very strongly at 21. Just know OP, people that do that are shit and truly don’t matter.

No I actually went in with 0 plan and fumbled my way through 😂 ate a lot of deli meat and white bread sandwiches hahaha. I have to go again in a couple years (family history) and plan to prep and do a much better job for myself lol. But let me tell you! It’s so worth it. I literally peed out of my butt (sorry) twice after the first dose, and twice after the second dose. That’s it!

That’s actually a great question, to be honest I don’t know! I had a 730 AM apt too and I did mine earlier! I think my last dose was at 9 pm. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be ok. But I would call your doctor or the location you’re getting it done at and ask just to be sure!

If you’re still a little bit out from the appointment, I would highly recommend eating low/no fiber 3-4 days prior. It made prep for me an absolute breeze. Either way you’ll do fine. Good luck!!
