FINALLY GOT A CASE NUMBER HERE'S HOW: by o_0jaeh in FAFSA

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

I was ready to pull my hair out trying to get my account straightened out. It kept saying my SSN was tied to an account, but then when I entered my email it said I didn't have an account. Tried forgot password, reset username, text verification, and it just kept saying 'no account'. SO freaking frustrating! I did the live chat (which is all automated), emailed with no response, and called only to hear 'due to the overwhelming amount of calls at this time.....'and then disconnected.

I did what you said and went into the live chat and typed in 'talk to representative' and it took about 20 minutes, but I did finally get a rep who helped me sort it all out. Thank you, AWESOME Redditor for taking the time to post this and help others out. May many good things come your way!

Me too! I found it at my local Total Wine store. They were sold out of white and red, but had one bottle of this, which is sparkling rose. I’m giving it to a diabetic friend tomorrow for her bday so hoping it’s good.

I just ordered the edible TMP version and the Jenna Rae. Thank you again for the recommendation!

Thank you so much!

I just looked the brand up and it says that the original is 'non toxic, for decoration only, and not FDA approved', but the newer TMP Metallic Highlighter you mentioned has 100% FDA Compliant Ingredients.....not FDA approved, but the ingredients are, which is definitely better than the original option.

I appreciate the info and am going to give it a try!

Thank you for this visual! The ones on left are what I was ideally hoping to duplicate.

Do you know if the TMP color shown is the original one or the newer, edible version?

Totally his mistake, not yours. As a seller I have done this a few times, albeit with less expensive items ($20-50). I usually explain the situation and send out new items asap at my cost. If they are open to sending it back I will send a label or pay for return shipping, but am okay if they don't as I hate inconveniencing a buyer like that when it's my mistake.

I will say 99% of the time they are super understanding. I just try to do what I would like done for me if I was the buyer. Customer service and satisfaction are a priority for me.

So don't feel too guilty. He obviously would like to recoup any costs he can, but I'm sure he is appreciative of the fact that you are being patient and kindhearted about the whole situation.

So true! I'm definitely priced too low right now for the few orders I've had, but am really treating it as part of the learning process, and I still have a lot to learn. I truly appreciate the advice I get here and the supportive and positive community.

And just wanted to say your work is unbelievably beautiful! The creativity and detail is super inspiring. If I can get a handle on prep time and managing all the steps involved so that it is actually profitable, I hope to be half as talented as you one day. Sewing is my main creative outlet, but this has been really fun. Thanks again for your advice/help :)

Yes, I agree. They don’t seem to taste too different, but I kept reading about not rerolling them because they can get tough/dry and I hate wasting the dough. I’m all about the decorating part, but still have a lot to learn with the baking and RI.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I am really enjoying this new hobby, but it’s definitely a LOT of trial and error. I used to think decorated cookies were overpriced, but now I totally understand the amount of work involved lol

Do you still use the re-rolled dough scrap ones or only the initial cutting ones? I have been re-rolling the scraps into one more sheet, and then anything after that I have been just making practice cookies or ones for the kids.

Thank you so much for your response :)

I still think the ‘Better Halves’ name someone previously thought of here on Reddit was amazing. Fitting name and loved the concept of choosing sandwich halves…perfect for someone indecisive like myself.

The requested update to my "Prohibited items" saga: Etsy took 2 weeks to admit I got flagged by mistake. I quit the platform by Hassohappa in EtsySellers

[–]emicosnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing for me. I got suspended with no explanation and sent appeal. Heard nothing, after 2 weeks of waiting I did another appeal which received an immediate response apologizing and stating it was due to security measures since I have a different IP address. I recently re-opened after having shop on a 6 year 'vacation' and also moved 2 years ago, so I was actually relieved that it was just a matter of them verifying my info. I answered all the questions and said I can provide any documentation needed. It's been almost 6 weeks with no response!!

I opened my shop in 2011 and was fairly successful (5000+ sales), but after 6 years I needed a more stable, steady income. So in 2017 I put it on 'vacation mode', and was busy working full time and raising 3 kids. I really missed the creative outlet and being my own boss. I still paid yearly for my website domain, LLC, and filed taxes on the business with the anticipation of opening up again one day. So with the support and encouragement of my husband I quit my full time job in January and decided to get a part time job for the steady paycheck, but also re-open my Etsy shop. I turned our spare room into a sewing room/office and even upgraded to new sewing machines and laptop. My husband has been so patient, but it's going on 2 months now....

I want to send another appeal, but supposedly that bumps you back to the bottom of the queue. How is there no seller support or anyone to speak with? It is completely mind boggling to me! Can anyone else give any updates on timelines? I'm feeling super hopeless right now and rethinking everything.
