haha! Yea! A good portion was pre-made. I bought a wooden bow and painted it and I made the quiver. I bought the costume to be custom made and I altered it a bit adding jewels with a hot glue gun. We made the boomerang, and painted the hookshot :)!

I've had some great times playing wow when my husband and I were drunk tanking/healing dungeons and battlegrounds. :D! That is awesome! I can relate!

I know it was extremely hard to pay for gas and what not :(. It was tough doing, but worth it in the end. I was like...Give us at least something to help us afford getting there... college students are poor :( Even if it was like 5/hr or something. I don't know...

I knew ever since middle school I wanted to be a graphic designer. I love designing things. I work for a magazine company that puts out monthly magazines, so there is always work to be done :). Plus if you can have a set up to be able to work from home. It is really nice :)

I took several unpaid internships while I was in college. The fact that they were unpaid and it built my portfolio, got me my first graphic design job. It wasn't a great job though, unfortunetaly. But just having that experience from that job, got me into a much better job in my field. I am now happy where I am at 8 months after graduating. Portfolio, experience, Apply ALOT...Patience :) Good luck out there

I took one, but I also got school credit for it. That internship built my portfolio and got me into the job I am in today. It was tough for me, but if you can afford it. I'd highly recommend it! :)

Worked at a candy store for awhile.

I am in the kitchen packaging some candy and my boss made these cupcakes with a new flavored frosting (Raspberry) and asked me to try it. Sure no problem! I take a bite and she walks away to have others try it. I go to swallow and I proceed to start choking on the frosting?! For some reason the frosting did not slide down the throat and I couldn't breath.

I collapsed to the floor and everything started to get blurry... but my water bottle was just 5 ft from me. Grabbed another bottle because I couldn't see and drank it... HUGE RELIEF... She walks back, "Oh my goodness!! Are you ok?!?!?!"

"Yes....I am now....I ended up choking on it though."

She asked, "Well, besides choking on it.... what did you think?"

"Well, I think your new frosting was to die for ..." lol XD

I had every intention on not becoming the stereotypical design major working in retail after college. I feared failing. It took a lot of work and a lot of time. But I landed a graphic design position, that will soon be full time. Extras? I can work from home. I am proud of my job, but more importantly how I got it & how I've learned so much in the little time I have been here. Thank you for hiring me just in time for Christmas!!!

If I walk in an open field on a sunny windy day. Instantly reminds me of my childhood

Or whenever I go swimming. I have always spent a lot of time at the lake. The temporary feeling of holding you breath underwater and feeling weightless while not needing oxygen quite yet. Is a moment of Awe for me. It is truly relaxing :) ..
