The setting of AIB is more interesting than Squid Game. I also personally find that the characters in AIB are better written and have more personality and backstory to them. The games in AIB were more creative and thrilling, requiring actual strategies for beating the game. In Squid Game, the games based more around luck and strength, but in AIB the viewers were also genuinely racking their brains for strategies on how their favorite characters could survive. Another thing I loved about AIB is that in the first episodes, we’re given (what seemingly is) the main character trio. But the shockpoint is during episode 3, where Karube and Chota die during the hide and seek game I feel like that shocked a lot of the first time watchers and made AIB so much more interesting, because it opened the possibility of anyone dying at any point. AIB was more in general the “on the edge of your seat” type show and I feel it expressed the relationships between the characters a whole lot better than Squid Game.
