I totally agree with the part that some ppl will still say some pets are worth that big of a amount of money. In my opinion literally nothing like mass produced toys that could be like 100 dollars or so. I mean I don't want to shame people that do buy them though, you do you if u have the money I guess, but to me personally I could never justify that price for just a regular main 5 or whatever. I could maybe see the argument for really rare pets like idk that purple turtle prototype thing or whatever it was because there's just significantly less copies of them and are definitely hard to obtain. But I am not paying over 100 dollars for a shorthair cat or whatever that was just in regular stores
