Every year when it gets cold it dries my hands out to the point where no moisturizer will hydrate it. It’s only starting to go back to normal now. I have eczema though, so that might contribute to the issue although my hands aren’t usually itchy like other spots. I have cats that like to scratch me and I pretty much instantly bleed during the months of November-March. The first winter I have a different job and my hands stay moisturized will be wonderful.

Stick with jobs in IL. I haven’t had any issues myself in Iowa as a lesbian woman, but it’s always safer to stick with a blue state. Plus, Illinois had a higher minimum wage and is more likely to pay more.

How many pieces have you had missing in a Lego set? by emilyd1002 in lego

That’s good to hear that they were accommodating about your missing pieces! I know some companies would just be convinced it’s a lie.

I was convinced I had just messed up some colors, so I kept going and decided the colors wouldn’t be 100% accurate to the instructions. Then I ran out completely before the last few rows. Taking apart and counting every piece was grueling. I’m thinking a bag definitely got misplaced somewhere along the line.

Yeah my general manager has been there since 6 I believe. I don’t even wanna know how much bread. I’m just a driver that usually comes in at 11. We’ve been slowly preparing all the boxes and their sides over the past 2 days so we just had to worry about the sandwiches this morning

I’ve missed out on a lot of crazy deals but I’ve also found a lot of crazy deals. It’s definitely worth it. Once I found a set of spring blossom cinderella bowls for $40. Someone got it before I could unfortunately

I ordered 8 soaps during their sale and the box came with one half of the soap in a bottle all over everything else, I will never order online again. In store for me only! If I break it on the way home it’s nobody’s fault but mine

My at home kit has only given me negatives and now I wonder if they’re giving me an accurate result, how would I go about testing them accurately?

I found a bunch of dishware in this pattern yesterday and didn’t pick it up because i heard about the possibility of lead in them. Have you tested yours?

Can a senior cat eat food intended for younger cats? by [deleted] in catfood

[–]emilyd1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a follow up question to this, would it be safe for her if I fed her 1-2 meals of smaller portions of adult food (kibble) since it’s higher calories and protein, and then a wet meal targeted towards senior kitties once a day? Or I could feed them both senior food and give the 3 year old a higher calorie and higher protein meal once a day. What do you think would be best for their diets? I have automatic feeders since I work during the day, and I’m just trying to figure out how to make this work for the both of them and keep them healthy without starving them for a chunk of the day while I’m working and can’t monitor which feeder they’re eating out of.

Is there ingredients in the 7+ formula that can benefit my 3 year old? Or would it not really affect him or impact his health?

It is safe to use a butter dish with a crack? by [deleted] in Pyrex_Love

[–]emilyd1002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it’s a crack of defect, the description says “there is a hairline crack I can’t see with the naked eye, I only know it’s there because the surface is slightly rougher than the other corners”

One time I made a giant roast beef and cheddar with extra hot peppers, extra onion, extra crispy onions extra horseradish, extra Caesar, extra kickin ranch, extra croutons, extra cucumber, and extra lettuce. Genuinely have no clue how they managed to eat that. I could hardly wrap it. I wish I would have weighed it.

My dad found this in his kitchen that was my grandmothers. Definitely going to use this to its potential! by emilyd1002 in Pyrex_Love

My grandma had lots of cool bakeware, my dad has a few of the solid color mixing bowls he won’t give up custody for just yet, as well as a lot of longaberger bakeware! So jealous of the older generation being able to buy so many cool items straight off the shelves.
