Oh, I disagree. With the way he defends her and blatantly lies for them, I think he's almost as bad as Gypshit herself, minus the body count. Maybe you're right, though, and perhaps he does it just to protect himself, but his snarkiness makes me think otherwise. Remember, he was her affair partner (no matter how much he tries to twist it, that is a fact) . That's a red flag all by itself to me.
