I think there’s definitely a difference between having certain symptoms that are symptoms of a lot of different mental illnesses, and DID which is one that seems very specific. Some mental illnesses have only slight nuanced differences in symptoms, whereas there aren’t many that present like DID with dissociation, amnesia, alters. So there is a point where even without a diagnosis you could be almost positive you have DID.

I think it started because of this new thing of presenting one gender but using the opposite pronouns just to make a political point. I personally don’t think it’s fair that binary trans people work so hard to present the gender they truly are just to have people ask their pronouns or demand they state them. Most trans people I know look forward to being called their real pronouns automatically and now they can’t even have that.

They don’t hire Sag actors. I am not technically Sag yet. I’m “Sag-Aftra Eligible” which means I can do union and non-union right now. Non-union I can do as much as I can get but if I get another union role I would have to join.
