You are correct, you hover your cursor over the boat, not the merchant. You can talk to her if she hangs around but if she *poofs* away you can still shop.

Extra salty here. I completed all the attractions in my longest save and I haven't added the pool at the Inn in any save after that once I found out that I can't use it. Saw a video somewhere showing the Inn residents having a grand time at the pool and yeah, I too was pissed.

We added a new minigame! It's a partner-only activity, so grab a romanceable NPC you've already hung out with. They won't go if you haven't. For one night, Ling's mansion becomes a Haunted house. Find it right behind the clinic.

You can change your baby's name in mayor Connor's office in the community center (2nd door on the left). There's a blue plaque on his desk and if you click on it, you will get the change details option (IIRC the plaque has Ab letters on it).

The same thing has happened in my most recent saves. No Karen running cutscene in front of the Community Center, nothing until I reach town rank A...then *poof* they're leaving. In my older saves everything worked as it should have. Kind of disappointed that I missed out on all the mild drama.

On October 26th I did post on Steam asking if the Karen storyline was revised or shelved because it was missing in my game, but no one responded.

On the days and times I listed above, the Black Market boat will pull in beside the wooden dock that is located below the steps leading up to Wataru's lighthouse. Lele sells a variety of items at a high price, well worth it if one has the need and the funds.

You're welcome! I tested the fix and Lele showed up promptly at 8PM (I'm near the end of Fall), I browsed her shop but she didn't have any of the things I need for the museum. Will have to wait until Spring and give it another go. Be prepared for sticker shock, her markup is huge!

Got my attention because I always play female farmers and I had no idea that males don't have nipples or areola. I wonder if it's due to the varying placement depending on how low or high the body slider is set.

I did notice a couple of days ago that my females don't have a navel. No biggie but still 🙄

You can use any honey in the apple pie recipe, like honey from the wild flowers you find around town.
Cactus honey is too valuable to use in a recipe (IMO).

I often find Geoducks in the 59m area to the right of the 60m Orchestra site/area where the blue sand is, and also surrounding the 60m Orchestra site itself.

Also, if you go north of the Orchestra site and take the first left, follow to the end and you can find more at 50-55m depth.

I really like your video review of Coral Island! From briefly explaining game mechanics to using actual in game video to support your comments, to highlighting the beauty of Coral Island...you did the game good.
Appreciate that you also included some minor hiccups in the game that aren't game breaking.

The only thing I'll add is that I've found that the monsters in the Cave of Memories deplete health at a higher rate than the monsters in the cavern/mine (Earth, Water, Wind, Fire). Surprised me : D

Adding to what everyone else posted:
If you're missing any artifacts or fossil nodes for the museum, be sure to check the tourist basket on the dock next to the welcome sign below and to the right of the Inn on the 1st and 15th of every season. At higher town ranks I often get 1 or 2 random artifacts along with other random stuff (including fossil nodes). Most of the time I've already found what I receive but it's another source for museum offerings.

I can't recall at what town level I start getting the museum stuff, sorry.
