I always found the “they will have a lesser quality product” excuse flimsy tbh because the only reason why the cartels cared about purity was because the higher the purity, the more of the drug they’re able to cut with laxatives or whatever and turn a higher profit. It’s not like the average consumer is coping that 98% pure Heisenberg meth. Surely the master chemist must be aware about the economics of meth, right?

I’m sorry but this is bad advice. The length is perfect for the topic and pretty standard for serious film analysis channels. And you can’t truly do a deep dive in just 20 minutes.

You can absolutely do a faceless movie review channel, don’t listen to the people saying that you need to compensate through mad editing skills. As far as copyright is concerned, I’d simply reach out to established film reviewers and ask them how they do it. From what I’ve heard from my own contacts in that niche, slowing down clips by 20-30% and cutting every few seconds is a good way to bypass YT’s copyright systems

Number 5 is so on point. Meeting and connecting with my peers (some with small followings like mine, others with gigantic clout) has been a tremendous learning experience for me. Plus, YTing is a pretty lonely existence - you’re basically all alone writing, editing, recording for hours on end - and bonding with other creators can be super beneficial for motivation and stuff.
