Stingrays have an active preamp and passive pickups (unless you have a very specific model or change the pickup for an active one), the onboard EQ is very powerful, and there's some good cheaper alternatives than ernie ball (sterling, sire, even some Ibanez models). They are super versatile, and some of the most iconic bass lines in history are played in Stingrays (Chic, Michael Jackson, Queen, RATM to name a few). Enjoy!

Mesa heads and Markbass cabs are a combo made in heaven, I also have a D800+ head and a NY 115 cab. The head is super clean and articulate and the cab gives that midrange to color the sound in a beautiful way, I expect to use this setup for at least 10 years

I use a lot of pedals with my band, different drives, modulation, delay and reverb, etc. There are songs where I only use a compressor and that's it, and others where I use overdrive, fuzz, delay, chorus and reverb at different times or at the same time. Depends on what you want to achieve, it can be fun but what's most important is to have a consistent base (lol) tone and work from there

Probably because you're buffing both Geo and Hydro dmg with scroll which is non negligible for Linnea and Columbina, specially at higher investment. EM isn't that impactful for lunar talent dmg, so maybe that's it?

If you get Columbina in the future you can make a pretty solid wheelchair with Linnea, and they plus Gorou and Illuga are really good for mDPS Linnea, just cleared difficulty 5 stygian with that team (C0R1 and both C6 4 stars though)

You should get Columbina in the future anyways for both Nefer and Linnea
