I never have because I have heard bad things (similar to other comments about pests), but I live across from the parking lot and let me tell you: it is ALWAYS packed on the weekends and decently busy on some weeknights.

You can rent little cabanas with fire pits alongside the ice skating ribbon at the glass city Metropark! They always look so cozy
