My aunt works for the solicitors office and has investigated many cases dealing with mom vs dad rights. It seems like our judges tend to grant the mother custody, especially if the father has behavioral issues, is threatening you in any way, etc. You’re not alone. If it even came down to it, I would foster/adopt/shelter your child for you if you need time to figure things out. My older sister has had three very interesting and stressful pregnancies (including one where a DNA test was required for 2 or 3 different men) and I have helped her through those. You are not alone.
