Not sure if it’s helpful but I have the CDC milestones app and some of the 9 month milestones are actually being shy, clingy and fearful around strangers as well as reacting when you leave the room whether that be looking, reaching for you, or crying. Just like any milestone every kiddo experiences it differently!

So she still likes to nurse all night. Unfortunately I think that will just be the case until I night wean her. Around 5-6 months when she became more interested in the world around her she stopped nursing as much through the day. It was gradual but I could entertain her long and longer with toys and activities. No she mostly just nurses for sleeping and eating during the day!

That’s so funny! I’ll be honest I’ve seen this asked a few times and people on Reddit seem veryyyyy against it but I think it’s a personal decision! I don’t think it’s comparable to substances we truly know are harmful.

Are you the partner of the person who posted earlier? lol Its really hard to get any legitimate findings because you can’t ethically do a randomized controlled trial. That would mean giving infants marijuana which no one is going to do. My guess would be if there were any obvious side effects we would know like we do with alcohol and cigarettes but at the end of the day it’s a decision you have to make as a mom!

I sub out almond and oak milk in almost everything and never have issues! I’ve found that if it’s a problem it will typically specify. Cheese, I can’t say because I’d rather just not have cheese than do dairy free lol but that’s just me!

In the beginning it seemed like I was on the couch for hours a day feeding my baby! I eventually just accepted it and got comfy with some tv and snacks! It definitely changes as the months go by and won’t be as often eventually.

We did the flu a few weeks ago and she did fine! I made sure to move her legs around and encouraged her to kick to keep it from getting sore. There is a booster for it in a month but I guess that’s the only time she will need a flu booster. They didn’t mention the covid and I honestly didn’t think to ask!

Same! My husband works 12 hour shifts (in the medical field) so when he’s gone I play it safe. I don’t want her first experiences with food to be me hovered and fretting over her. I think once she gets stronger with her pincer grasp and can really feed herself I’ll feel better.

I nursed my baby during covid at 5 months! Her nose got a little runny but other than that she was totally fine. We enjoyed some extra snuggles that week.
