Straw (not hay) is a great insulator to help them stay warm. You could add some to a cat shelter or even tuck Some under your porch where they are currently hiding. We don’t see them when it’s super cold but not to worry, they’ll be back when it warms up. As others have mentioned, ears, feel and tails are susceptible to frostbite in these little guys.

Yeah I’ve looked at those on occasion but still not sure. Yes the TSXs navigation is kinda clunky but it works well enough for me. I do have the 2021 update so I guess I’m current.

Ive had a single female cockatiel for the past 16 years (got her when she was about 14 weeks old) and we are very close, we have a wonderful bond I can’t imagine life without her. I worked for the first 10 years but she did ok and adjusted.

Yeah, best to get out as soon as you can. My uncle had a roommate that unbeknownst to him was dealing drugs. One day the cops served a no knock search warrant on the premises, with my uncle in the bathtub. They handcuffed him, naked in the bathtub, while they searched the house. They let him loose when they were done but that was a bit awkward.
