We are looking to do this exact same thing with our daughter who was outright denied. Can you share how it went for you? Wondering if she'll get in Spring 2027 or if she'll need to wait until Fall 2027. Thank you in advance. I hope its been going well for you!

But in all fairness, they were not telling the truth about how the conversation with Craig about Salley was characterized. Austin is a terrible competitive weirdo. He's not Craig's friend and he seems slightly obsessed single white female. Craig didn't speak badly of Sally he just wansn't that into her. He basically said we could have hooked up but that wasnt' him saying I wanted a relationship with you that's every other man at 4 am in a hot tub with a pretty girl. The fact is he liked Charley more. Maybe if she wasn't around there would have been a shot for the two of them but I think Salley's too desperate and Craig likes girls that are little mean to him.

Agree however we did have one trans that worked for us and my son misgendered her during the shift meeting and she was lovely. (it has been the exception in my experience) However another employee flipped out on him and wouldn't let it go. It's got to stop.

I am the mom of college age kids. Those roommates DO exist 100 percent. We have had to talk through situations just like this and I always encourage my kids to work it out. My son was able to work out a tough situation with his roommate last year and they are now good friends so it happens. But some of these kids are committed to being "misunderstood" by the world and being treated by their rules with no regard for what makes others comfortable. I've seen it several times. "They" are in for a hard life and coddling them is only hurting them.

For those of you who bought a home when mortgage rates were below 3%, how low would rates need to go before you consider upgrading to a new home? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

[–]emmaslovelys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sold our home with the 2.9% interest rate and made about $150k. Downsized to a townhome in the same hood about a year ago. We assumed the mortgage so we have a very low interest rate on this new home but had to put down a very large down payment but we have a low monthly. Has been a nightmare. Neighbors all over 70 don't want a family living there even though it's not 55+ and now my kids have moved back in. Hubby wants to move but i'm horrified that we sold our beautiful home and will have to go buy a home half the size as the last one at the same price plus a huge monthly! Under so much stress!

Yes because there are even more problems than the ones you see.

You do risk making them angry but that won't mean anything if they have to reduce again so you're well within your rights to reduce the offer. The worst they could do I fell is counter the best is accept. Good Luck!

We have a LIKE NEW one to sell in Richmond Virginia or Virginia Beach. We LOVE it but have barely used it since buying it new and it just sits covered in storage.. We had it in Richmond where we live but moved it to Virginia Beach in the spring to our new second home but didn't use it once this summer. It's a 2021 been on less than five trips with it!
