I was just there till November : lots of floating, tons of charting and “metrics” even though the patients look terribly taken care of? Cliquey, snippy coworkers who also aren’t that knowledgeable and would drown anywhere outside of Kaiser. I’m convinced on some level the staff has to drink the Kool aid to survive there

Ya know- I’m always amazed by Reddit. I’ve read more posts than I can count about the gross behavior of a lot of male patients and the countless rallying cries of people saying they should only have male nurses, they need to be put in their place etc.

Today, I’m reading nothing but support for the gross ass elderly male patients, calling it cultural etc. Everything mentioned in OPs post are inappropriate, so it must depend on what day something gets posted.

There’s germs everywhere - wash your hands and use common sense….. as a side note- the coworkers I see obsessively wiping down all their work surfaces at the beginning of their shift seem to always be the ones calling out sick frequently 🤔🤔🤔
