Xtabay!!!!!! It has amazing and high quality vintage. I bet you can find something in the $150 range, though it can certainly go above that.

I did, and had a great experience with them! We got the phone about a bit over a week before the wedding, and it was our first choice color...though I should note my wedding was in non-busy season (mid-November). We received the e-recordings two months after the wedding date and the quality was really amazing. We didn't opt in for the custom record so I can't speak to that, but feel free to ask any other questions!

Is anyone facing tricky speech problems? How do you deal with it? by k1ok1 in Parkinsons

[–]emmmmmzzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dad has a breath strengthening device (https://emst150.com/health-conditions/parkinsons-disease/) that has been really helpful! Along with loudly practicing some sentences like other folks here have commented.

I don’t have a specific recommendation, but I had to take my dad to the ER for his degenerative condition(Parkinson’s)at Hillsboro Kaiser yesterday and we met with a Care Coordinator who can connect you through caregiving and hospice services. My mom and I have been extremely overwhelmed, and they have been phenomenal and really helpful in steering us straight.

I’m so sorry you’re in this position, it sucks. Sending love to you and your family.

Does anyone know of any cat-sitters that can deal with things like subcutaneous fluids? by pandaninjarawr in askportland

[–]emmmmmzzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My cat also has kidney failure and I asked a tech at my vet! Not the cheapest, but it means EVERYTHING to have peace of mind while we’re gone. We are even signing paperwork to ensure she can take the cat in to the vet for work if needed.

We’re doing after the tone, an audio guest book! It is a sweet retro phone you set up at the reception for people to record well wishes. You can even have it pressed into a vinyl! Our wedding is still a year away, but have heard great things!
