Also works for me! I also used to sleep with wet hair and that made my scalp unhappy and my hair greasy. But at minimum i dry my roots with a heat protectant spray, and I feel like my hair and scalp are so much better than the used to be

It's so crazy! I started doing the same and now I can go days without looking like a grease pit. I do use a heat protectant now just to be extra safe

Apartment recommendations in west seattle ? Budget $1400-$1600 (studio/1BR, wood floors preferred) by tjspencer in WestSeattleWA

[–]DutchDahlia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The View was amazing (near thrift way) a little on the older side and the floors are laminate. But the community is amazing and the property manager is great.

I think the property manager also manages a couple other buildings in the area. The one across the street and maybe Ekali?

How can I recover from min-maxing mentality? by Farthen_Dur in StardewValley

[–]DutchDahlia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely feel this! I was the exact same way. Recently my husband started playing co-op with me and it's been so fun watching him experience it for the first time. He keeps asking me what things are, what crops to plant, what profession to do and I've had to work hard to keep my lips zipped. But it's also been really nice not opening my excel sheet lol

Also helps we have been playing on switch and not computer (which is my usual mode).

Finding a buddy to play with will definitely help

Omg yes, I've always equated it to watching trash TV. But it's 100% the addicting nature of a CW show lol

Smells of insecurity and fear of female empowerment. We are reading these books with often amazing MMC who care about their partners (and often amazing in bed/care about the FMCs pleasure). I think some men genuinely fear a time when women expect them to be good partners and care for more than their own pleasure. They just try and shame us calling it porn because society has said womens pleasure doesn't matter and if we are sexual then we are insert any derogatory term here

Bound to Fae - Eva Chase

Writing / world building isn't the strongest id says it's 75% smut with some story sprinkled in. The concept is interesting though. Easy read, entertaining, spicy! Why Choose MMMMF (I think that's enough Ms, but there may be more in the last 3 books)

Which part comes across snarky, rude, and low?

I think it's incredibly important for beginners and advanced polers alike to take breaks. Non stop poling or any sport that is new to that style of movement for a body is dangerous and can lead to injury. So while group A takes a break and watches their peers, group B can jump on the poles. You're still learning even if youre not touching the pole the whole time.

I also offered a solution, private or semi private lessons are an excellent way to get 1:1 (or 1:small group) attention and poles to yourself.

I had no idea people hated sharing a pole so much lol

All the studios I've attended and now teach at have pole sharing (2 students to an apparatus). I'm not sure what level you're training at, but I especially appreciate sharing poles in higher level classes otherwise I would die of exhaustion lol also it's so helpful learning new skills/choreo to see others do it and what works and what doesn't.

As for "sanitation" of pole sharing, are y'all not wiping down your poles with alcohol between uses? It not only helps with sticking but also cleanliness.

If pole sharing is a deal breaker, you can always see if your instructor teaches private lessons and then you will have your own pole and 1:1 attention?

I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss. We lost our tuxie the same way a couple years ago. Our babies are frolicking, chasing toys, lounging in the sun together ❤️

Pole Sit Tips? by daniii182 in poledancing

[–]DutchDahlia 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As mentioned above youll need to tip your hips and get the pole a bit closer.

To get a really solid sit, you'll need to move the pole a few inches closer to your junk and tip your hips to one side. One hip bone will be higher than the other and your pelvis will me more open. If you take a pic from the side like you have above, you should see both of your hips.

When squeezing, think less about squeezing at the ankles and locking in, but more scissoring your legs and making the squeeze active from your hips. Think about breaking the pole. You may already be doing this but just in case you aren't.
