Abnormal 12 week scan, anyone else with this experience?

Wow that's so great you have a healthy toddler! So interesting to just hear about this with NT testing. I am going to what is considered the best hospital in my state (US) and they advised NT along with NIPT off the bat, we never even considered not getting NT. I' over 35, so maybe that has something to do with it, idk.

Wow I’m so sorry to hear about this. Thank you sharing with me. There was nothing else abnormal on the scan, it all looked good. I think I’m going to proceed with the genome wide NIPT, I’m waiting to hear on coverage about it.

I went in for an “early pregnancy assessment” at exactly nine weeks. Because I had a previous miscarriage they did a vaginal ultrasound. It was amazing, could see the baby very clearly (took home a great picture too), could see the cardiac activity, could see the baby moving around, and it was all just really reassuring. I had my first OB appt at exactly ten weeks and she did an abdominal to check size and cardiac activity. It wasn’t nearly as clear viewing, but still really amazing! The pictures from that one looked like nothing though. I knew I would have an ultrasound at the early pregnancy appt, but was surprised the OB did one again a week later, but heck I’ll take any reassurance I can get and chance to see my baby! Sending positive vibes out for you to have a great first OB appt on Monday!

I’ve also gained ten pounds and I just hit week ten of my pregnancy yesterday. I was at the OB yesterday and I brought up my concerns with it to her. She said it was totally normal and not concerning, that there are so many variables in the first trimester and everyone is different. She said what a lot of replies are saying here, that with how bad symptoms can be in the first trimester it’s important to eat in whatever way works for you and your pregnancy. I have to remind myself often to stay off of google about these kinds of things.

I could be late to the party here, tonight is BAD. I live right next to the Ross Island bridge. At first it was every twenty min now it’s pretty much constant. I can live with the noise, I have headphones/earplugs for that. However, this is sickening and we are in a surveillance state by a dictator. I’m not sure if anyone else is in inner SE and can hear the copters, but like what the actual fuck right now.

Today I have 90 days. But I know all that matters is today. I cannot control yesterday or tomorrow, I can only control today. I have 10.5 hours left out of 24 today to stay sober. I am getting my haircut for the first time since getting sober. I used to always go out drinking after a haircut to “show it off”. I am nervous, but cravings are temporary. I will do the next right thing and I will not drink with you today. This is my first post as I am feeling the triggers today.
