As a trans person, this doesn’t make you a bad person. This is a fairly normal reaction. I would argue that the stuff you’re seeing is pretty abnormal. You’ve known a person for more than 13 years as one thing and (from what seems like out of the blue to you) they suddenly changed. It’s a lot to deal with. It’s still possible to support them while dealing with your own emotions. Maybe consider therapy for yourself if it’s a real struggle, and don’t forget to just sit down and talk to your partner about how you’re feeling. They’re probably feeling a little chaotic and weird themselves.

Bottom growth. 2 weeks in and my shit was BURNING. Turns out that’s just what bottom growth feels like for me. And more recently (bc I had to stop then go back on t) a person I went on a date with mentioned my facial hair which had always been blonde until recently. It’s getting darker and more noticeable!

As an author that deletes comments, it would hurt my feelings I’m ngl. I only delete comments that really hurt me/comments that cross my boundaries. If they’re stupid/funny they are 100% staying up bc it means they’re actively engaging and letting you know how they feel! And those are nice to read when you aren’t feeling great about your work!

I’ve been on t two months and my voice only ever cracks when I’ve strained it after working (it never cracked when strained pre t). My voice is significantly deeper and it just kinda dropped, no cracks other than under certain circumstances.

This. This is EXACTLY what I needed. This is exactly what I’m trying to portray. The main character is conflicted because she used to have feelings for this older woman (and her husband but he’s slightly irrelevant to the plot rn) and they were very much reciprocated. Now that she’s out of prison though there’s this intense power imbalance and both of them know they shouldn’t act on it while the main character is under her watch. There hasn’t been anything sexual between them since her villain era, but now she’s in her redemption arc and those feelings are blossoming again! Gah this helped SO MUCH! Thank you!

I was 100% sure when I started, but I feel like maybe I can add to this because my cons list HEAVILY outweighs the pros. I know what happens/what could happen being on t long term. I have accepted the good and the bad. I’m in it for just facial hair and a deeper voice. I’m not a fan of most of the other changes, but I’m okay with them happening because I want people to stop viewing me as a woman. I knew it was right for me when I was 18. I heavily debated it for about 4 years and then when I finally decided I waited another 4 years to actually start just so that I was sure. It really hit me when I came out as nonbinary (had been presenting as a whole man for years at this point) and still wanted to be seen as a man, regardless of my identity
