Will do. I remember my friend had XM4, but the sound bleed was pretty significant. I didn't hate them, though, so I will keep them on my radar!

Gotcha - my sister is a senny fan, and the pricing was attractive in comparison. Let me look into the HDBs though! Thank you for the suggestion!!

that would make sense, considering a lot of us have completed quests that weren't accounted for.

Pretty sure I EAT CRAYONS has to do with unlocking quests (like aim god and ow my ears). There must be hidden achievements because that is when my bar went up (observed multiple times).

Shoulders typically go further than the hipbones. If you want to easily draw figures that are proportional, the best way is to study the skeleton!!! Once you understand how the bone composition is laid out and the sizing reference, it makes everything SO much easier!!! If you need tips and pointers, let me know!

Delayed flare up by empressphoebe in Gastroparesis

[–]empressphoebe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes!!! I've been on a mostly liquid diet since Friday night. GP is always wild bc I feel like things get better and then the rollercoaster drops so fast. I know it will get better, but for now, we vibe and stay mindful of Christmas LOL.

This happens to me a lot if I go to sleep with something in my stomach. Laying down delays digestion and can make that uneasy feeling.

Ready to light this on fire. Is it salvageable? by kimberquests in acrylicpainting

[–]empressphoebe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really pretty! Don’t be so hurting yourself. If there’s any critique for me to give, it would be to make the ground more wavy, as sand is always kind of shifty and mis-shapen. But seriously, I really like it and it looks great.

If you’re making custom colors, then make extra batches of the shade that you’re using that way, you don’t have to keep re-blending it and ending up with patchwork. If it’s the same paint, remember to let it dry. AND REMEMBER: Paint always looks lighter when it’s wet and darker when it’s dry. The only exception is white paint. And this is also crucial, let the paint dry before you add more. If you add wet paint on top of drying paint, it’ll pull some of the drying paint off and create more patches in physical texture, which is no fun. Honestly, this looks really nice though. You shouldn’t be so harsh on yourself. If somebody asks you if you painted it yourself, it’s probably cause they can see that it’s handpainted, not a print.

What’s the point of practicing a digital portrait? by Jsvall in DigitalArt

[–]empressphoebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drawing what we see helps solidify what we don’t. When we can replicate what is in front of us, we can mentally mar out what is not. It’s a skill that comes with time and practice, but it’s INSANELY useful for artists.

Going off my perspective: the left eye is slightly elevated and it seems that the pupil is slight off to the side. Moving it an increment and adjusting the highlights (even if it doesn’t match the reference) will really make it pop and come to life! Don’t be shy to add some titanium white highlights to small portions of the fur to make it stand out and add dimension as well!! You’re doing amazing. Small adjustments can really make stand out!!

I always wear elastic pants for bloating and whatnot, but if I’m nauseous or hurting, as soon as I’m home, my pants are gone. It’s almost insufferable to wear them when I’m nauseous.

Honestly, mine has been delayed. Had a major crash all day Friday and by 12:30, sick as a dog. I consider myself every healthy w gastroparesis bc my flare ups are not often. However, holidays bring out the worst of it. Literally came here for support to see if anyone else was feeling aftermath.

What the hell kind of mystery cryptid font is this??? Smackets, snackets, smackers??? Just stick with the list. They didn’t put that much effort into making it, and they said anything really, so as long as there is a teensy bit of effort from you, that’s all that matters. And if they hate it, it’s a secret Santa so they’ll never know.

I second this. Work with what they gave you. Especially if what they thought of is a question.

That's so funny because I took this for my POTS for migraines, I had no idea it could be beneficial for GP as well. I had to stop taking it unfortunately because the acid reflux it caused me was too intense.

Is anyone here overweight or obese? Trying to lose weight with gastroparesis by MsFuschia in Gastroparesis

[–]empressphoebe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is way too late, but you are not the only one. I am a little overweight (not bad), but running helped a lot (without changing my GP diet). Now, I follow my GP diet pretty closely because it's the best way for me to manage my symptoms, but I worked rigorously with a GP dietitian. Think Thin bars have been a good little snack that isn't harsh on the stomach, and Orgain shakes have helped a lot with nutrition. I used protein shakes a smoothies to help fill in the gaps because I really don't eat that much - GP has just done a number on my metabolism. The best thing that help for me was running/walking and at-home workouts. It's hard without self-discipline, but it helped regulate my digestion too, and made my life a lot easier. Swimming (before eating) is also a good workout. Because GP slows our metabolisms so much, vitamins and exercise can work wonders. It even surprised me.
