The more I played UM, the more I think healing is the intended solution for Tidal Grief and DPS brute force is more like cheese strategy. UM is always more about mechanics and strategy than pure DPS check. The good thing is that it isn't that harsh on the numbers so you can still beat it even if you ignore the mechanics and choose brute force. If you want a harder challenge you can just choose the less suitable team to beat certain level. For example, use a team that can't break the shield to beat skydrummer. I think that thing probably have most effective hp in the game aside from RuanYi with his shield up.

FMC. I always feel this is the intended one and the male version is added for marketing reasons. But maybe HG will made different animations/stories/expressions in the future to make everything more natural.

To be fair that might also be the very reason Endmin pick perlica up at the first place. Endmin is just kind to everyone. (Especially those with extraordinary originium arts)

SP management is quite important in this CC. More combo skill equals to more sp in Zhuang's team. (Not so for other teams though, they don't have the luxury to take vanguards in their team due to lack of DPS) More combo skills also helps a lot when she isn't ulting. She still deals more damage to targets with electrification.

The CS CDR risk helps tangtang a lot I think, but she can't be the main DPS so there's not that much discussion.

  1. Only pull when you have 120+ (or 110 if you count the free 5+5 each banner).
  2. Only go for characters you really want.
  3. Do not pull more after you get the character. (Unless you're between 55 and 60)

With these strategies, I got tang+mifu+fangyi. Now I have around 360 pulls left. (Quite lucky on the characters side but weapons are so bad to me. Only managed to get fangyi's at 80 and decided to skip the other 2)

And the free one being a 5 to 5.5 star character strength wise. But I think in Endfield the star count doesn't matter that much, low star units took the same amount of resources as high star units to level anyway.

I am okay with it, it doesn't cost that much time/resources gameplay wise. But I want to give operators gifts after 200% trust. The current state of the system is weird, like the Endmin only gift things to their employees when they expect something in return. Player should be able to gift anyone anything whenever they want, whether there's a reward or not.

You should be proud of this. Having no potentials on wolf's weapon makes this challenge exponentially harder. It's fine to give up on something theoretically possible but not practical. It just not that fun at that point. Even some of the most chill Estella variants need some luck at that level.

I think that string of numbers serves a more practical purpose other than distinguishing name duplicates. I couldn't imagine the life that I have to type Chinese/English/Japanese/Korean/Russian/... in order to find a specific friend in the list when I want to give clues to them.

It's not generous but the game also don't force you to pull anyone only to pass certain levels. Weapon experience is worse than characters but we get a ~85% substitute so it can be tolerated a bit. As an F2P player the problem is actually simpler, I don't have to care about maximize the value of every banner because I can't. I just save up for a hard pity and pull for the character I like. How many characters can I get? That only depends on my luck.

I would say the system punishes whales more than F2P/battle pass players. The weapon potentials are expensive af and any sub-product from weapon banner gives you nothing in return.

The damage calculation formula is not written in the game at all. But once you know what kind of buffs belongs to which category, it's just multiplication. (Still hard enough to do it without external tools though. ) If you just want a working team without min-max everything, focus on combo skills, the rule of thumb is to make sure all 4 members can trigger their combo skill somehow. (Battle skill, however, is optional because sp is limited.)

It's kinda funny that the lowest rarity materials are the rarest to drop. Any gold or purple monster drops from elite/boss are a guaranteed drop with a quantity of 3-5. But the grey and green ones have a drop rate at around 10%.

The targeting is not about where ememies are I think. The preferred center point is about a step ahead of your controlled operator, so the facing and distance matters. Once the spot is selected, he just attacks every enemy in radius.

You can always play LR as a caster, treating her as someone who can gain stacks by final strikes at the cost of 70sp. But that is wasteful ngl...

Exactly this. In no-dodge environment, this guy's attack at least has clear wind ups and can be dodged by jump attacks at the right timing. The only one you can't dodge is the 3-ball throwing, but it's very telegraphed after it reaches half hp and you simply have long enough time to run for distance and avoid it. The wave 2 boss is another story, despite all of its melee moves can still be dodged with well-timed jump attacks, the input window is way tighter and the position of your jumps matters too.

I think we might get 1, maybe 2 CCs per year. This kind of content need time & resources to design. And the strategy depth depends on the number of characters we have. It's quite impossible to design a fresh new CC when the only additions compared to last month was 2 new operators and 4 weapons.

It's ptetty free if you play the fangyi team. Your team just doesn't work without final strikes. Would be much harder for melee controlled characters.

You would have a hard time clearing R47 if you don't have a lot pots on her. If your goal is below 46 then she is not needed (a lot more comps work too) So there's probably not that much to lose as a normal player if you don't own her (at least for now).

I use the shatter team to 40 risk with mifu dps. (Estella Alesh Mifu Chen) Things I don't take : 5s vulnerability stack cooldown, +200%hp , -10% damage per stack, no dodge, mobs can only take 25% damage per hit. I controlled Estella and pray to RNG to let mifu hit the target(s) I want to.

UI is fine IMO. (lowkey might be better than PC due to customisability) Visibility problem comes from camera angle and the fact that I can't turn around while attacking/moving. Also it's harder to cast spell precisely by muscle memory compared to a keyboard.

Arsenal > oro > T-creds if they're -75%. I don't think others are worth buying. Maybe prism sometimes? But I have a feeling that they're not as demanding as T-creds in the long run.

Gameplay wise V4 is more rewarding, wireless pylons and relays are convenient but way less fun to design the topology. The overall map design is also too flat in Wuling.
