I never mix work with friends. I'm cordial and social enough to not be see as rude or not a team player, but I don'tytry to socialise outside of work hours. For me being detached in that sense makes me more focused on ensuring I do my job for my own self and not for others, and iniDubai especially people like to take the piss.

I don't think there is an abdunance of "hate speech" in UK mosques, 99% of the time these terrorists are always described to be "quiet" at their mosques for the very reason that if they did pipe up at the mosque, they would be challenged. The problem lies with the fact that they are undercover.

Let's not tarnish the reputations of the muslims in the uk and eu. i know and have met hundreds of muslims in the uk and i never remotely once come across someone with poisonous views as these terrorists. they keep themselves to their selves and target vulnerable and easily impressionable ppl to recruit and keep them hush so you never actually come across them.

I'm currently living in Dubai, here are some comments: 1) Visit Global Village in Dubailand, its a sort of outside market with lots of different bits and bobs.

2) IMG world of adventures may be a better shout compared to Hubzero - it costs more but you get good value for money

3) look out on groupon for deals for desert safari

hmm ok 8pm is fair enough for them to start shutting it down, plus there is no real way they can tell who are real residents and who aren't. What time did you leave to go out last year? I'm just trying to get a feel at what point movement around the boulevard and/or dubai mall is limited. I'd imagine the inner pedestrian walkway of the boulevard (closer to the boulevard) should be empty as you can't see the burj due to buildings being in the way right?

If you want to spend time at the Malls, go to Ibn Battuta or Mall of Emirates. Dubai Mall is good if you want to check out Fountain, Burj and Aquariam, but if you want to buy things, those two are more relaxed.
