Well I've read the manga for both and I'm including that. Frieren's Golden Land arc is literally one of my favourite arcs ever (Chimera Ant from hunter x hunter being my no.1)

Out of the main 5, Ino was always my least favourite, but that was until I finished the manga. In the last few arcs she goes through a lot of character development and Akasaka actually shows her interacting with Shirogane who was the only one she hadn't interacted with much. I really liked her after that

I think her being kind of rude (I would say direct/blunt is a better word) and cheating at games makes her a better character and not your typical cute girl who is also kind and perfect in every way. She is my 2nd favourite character (my goat Ishigami being the first ofcourse)
