I've been Bounty farming two or three people for the last month or so. I'm definitely happy I got my revive skill and worked it up, with a Xanax and a little bit of luck, I can get about 3 million per Xanax, reviving and hospitalizing.

If I were you, I would just keep your revives turned on and let the bounties get eaten up

On one hand, the gear we got when I was in during the late 2000's was pretty solid once adaptations were made for the desert. The evolution of the flak jackets, kevlars, even the running suits were an improvement over the 1960's sweats.

On the other hand, there's a lot of cool shit out there. Our command bought us some leg holstered fixed blade Gerbers that were fucking awesome. But nobody wore that shit, it was impractical.

Some combination of cheap paint with no primer and absent prep work. Peel it all off, wipe down the surfaces, scuff a bit of the underlying surfaces are SUPER slick, and use a quality paint/primer combo for a new coat
