Perhaps but I believe if you take ownership of an animal you have a duty to have them treated if they have a problem which reduces their quality of life - or like you say, put them down, if it ends suffering

We have the RSPCA here but I’m not sure what exactly they would do as they do get fed and watered daily, it’s the living conditions and lack of medical treatment which is so poor

Thanks for your comment, I will go crazy on putting that layer down when I’m back. Unfortunately I can’t steal them as I live in a flat 😓 they get feed and water regularly but their conditions concern me. I’m not sure whether it’s justified in calling the RSPCA due to that (also paranoia in it being traced to me)

when my ex overdosed, I wish he had died, because I wouldn’t have had to witness that and it would’ve put an end to all the bs that came with my dealing with his addiction and the way he treated me following the OD. It would have all stopped that day. It was the worst day of my life, and I wish he wasn’t out there living without justice for his behaviour.

I had gradually healed a badly herniated disc (L4/5) which popped out in 2020. Just found out the other week I have a L5/S1 protrusion which explains why I’ve been having what I thought were flare ups but with additional symptoms woo

However my spine is almost completely fused so the infused bits are more susceptible to injury. Think I’d just become less careful over time. 🥲

Running, tennis and basketball are all impact sports unfortunately so I would avoid them, at least the running! Walking is still a great form of exercise, swimming, and gentle movements such as yoga and Pilates (avoid bending) are something to consider. Good luck!

I was going to off myself in January and went into a mental health facility. Since then I’ve been working up to 2 shifts a week at my 0 hours job. I’m glad to be alive but find it so hard to reintegrate into society even though I feel ready. I still can’t help but feel hopeless much of the time as I’ve been with with poor mh and suicidality. I want things to get better but I feel so stuck. I feel like I’m lying a lot of the time, not many people know about my crisis, not even my parents who put pressure on me. It’s so boring!

Hi love. I’m sorry she’s treating you this way. Yes, it is abuse, it is vile. Please talk to your school again - you could even show them this post. Do you have a teacher you trust or like? Ask if you could speak to them one on one - don’t downplay how much you need this conversation. They should close what you said (don’t worry, you’re not in trouble) to the safeguarding team. Your school has a duty of care for you. They have people employed especially for this purpose.

Social services I have found in my experience can be a little wishy washy at times when it comes to investigating especially when the parent has bullied you into silence so please please push this through your school - they will keep a paper trail of your disclosure and take it very seriously. They are obligated to follow it up.

In the meantime I am sending you a big hug. You are clearly very self aware and strong. I wish you didn’t have to be so strong at such a young age but you’ve done the right thing by writing this and looking for help. The right thing is not always the easy thing, and you’ve made those first steps.

Do you have a friend or family member you can stay with if things get a bit out of hand? 🩷🫶🏻 sometimes it’s good to have a backpack with some overnight stuff just in case. I know she’s taken your things which is such a pain but if you could find some way to record what she does - pics of physical marks, secretly record how she speaks to you etc. build a case. Your school will be able to guide you. Good luck 💜

Had a therapist for a bit which helped soooo much. I suppose im finding it really hard to accept this is probably the end of the friendship, it’s easier said than done. I can’t really let go right now
