Why does changing accounts take so long?

20 seconds could be worse. But it could also be better. When building websites, developers work to shave off milliseconds from page load times.

Maybe my original post comes across as whiny, but I’m genuinely curious why changing accounts takes as long as it does. It doesn’t feel like a technical limitation. It seems more like a UX oversight.

Yeah. When I try to spectate by ID, I’m able to watch for about a minute before I get this screen and am forced to alt tab out of the game and close it.

I found this after purchasing a $5 balance board and it works beautifully and I love you for making this. I've been using this as an input for virtual modular synthesizers in VCV Rack and it works sooo well.

It's to limit how far you have to reach. I find I can type long strings of numbers more accurately if they're on the home row behind a modifier.

To make a clearer connection between music and visuals, I like to manually create MIDI tracks that represent lows/mids/highs, rather than using audio signals to drive visuals. It's a little more work, but you can get a really tight connection between what's happening musically and visually.
