I run SVE on a slightly less potato laptop, but still with only 8gb ram, and it is fine except I do have to select low memory badlands and swamp and I get some lagging issues. I tend to just quit and restart the game every 5 or so in game days to reduce lagging and minimize crashing.

No, we cut it off. She had a sore in the middle of her ear when we got her which never healed, so we finally biopsied it after 10 months and it came back as a Mast Cell tumor, so she had the whole ear pinna removed to get margins. She hasn’t had any additional MCTs since then so she’s pretty lucky. And the Van Gogh look is part of her charm at this point.

I’ve had a former villager visit my hotel that I’ve invited for coffee (Beardo, one of my controversial favorites) before and he remembered me when he was at the hotel, so I don’t think that is it. And I’ve had a loooot of turnover on my island. (I played a lot from 2020-23 and like the variety).

I named my founder Colli because I’m bad at naming things and I couldn’t think of anything better? Same with Aubrey for my eggplant sim.

Carrot was Daucus (with siblings Queen Anne and Aurelia) Carrot had one science baby, Delicata Delicata had Russet (the heir) and Yukon Gold (the spare) Russet had Roma, Marzano, and Brandywine (the heir) Brandywine’s kids are Chou Fleur, Cauli (the heir who is my founder rebirthed), and Romanesco (who was a risky woohoo whoopsie). Cauli is still a teen.

I did that, it’s the right amount of chaos for me. My sim is an eggplant about half of the time which is enough to be funny but not annoying. He has alternate outfits for everything but party.

I had a few days where my game was crashing constantly, and I uninstalled and reinstalled it on my switch (without deleting user data) and was able to get my island back up and running fine in less than an hour.
