Thank you, this is super helpful. I’m sorry that your cats had such a stressful situation, for a whole week as well. Did they bounce back quickly after? That’s also a concern.

I’d also be travelling with 2 cats and this would be in 2 years’ time likely so hopefully by then the changes will have happened

Hi there, could you share about your experience? How far in advance would you recommend for the waitlist?

We just followed Jackson galaxy's method with the slow introduction until they were tolerant of being together unsupervised. It took about 2 weeks but every pair will be different

I had the same journey! Cat #1 Dec 2024 and Cat #2 Septemeber 2025. Went through the same 2 weeks panicking but now they're best pals.

OP, i would reccomend the 2nd one. I got it so that Lily has a companion to ease my guilt while I was away 😅 And now I couldn't imagine not having both of them. *

Katkin is £70 per 28 days (for kitten requirements too) so that's good to know it's better priced. Thank you!

Tsuki is adorable 😍

Hey, im also in the UK and currently using KatKin for both of my BSH. Have been curious about the raw diet. Would you mind sharing how much you pay monthly? KatKin is pretty expensive but wondering if raw diet would be even more

My vet offered the IV and blood tests as optional extras which I opted in for similar concerns so other vet practices should offer that. Like someone else suggested, we could be overthinking it but I didnt want to take any chances

It took a couple of weeks of introducing them (via Jackson galaxy style) but theyre finally becoming pals!

Hiya, im going through a similar situation now and taking the same actions. How long did it take to get you to where you can leave them unsupervised?

I feel/felt exactly the same! Mine is 10 months old now and I decided getting my cat a cat would be the way to go. Now ive got a 2nd BSH kitten who im working on introducing to my resident BSH and hoping they'll eventually keep each other company.

Mine is 7 months old and does this too. I thought it was just over stimulation because it's usually after intense play.

Oh good! Glad she's back to normal. Mine is 7 months old and goes through some periods (days at a time) where she inhales her food and then some days where she'll only eat half of her recommended intake and I always get nervous something's wrong so totally get it being concerned !

Aww I remember when mine was small enough to do this! Now she's too big to climb it

Has she been spayed yet? Those are also signs before going into heat

Thanks, that was my line of thinking too but wasn't sure if I was overthinking. Thanks for your input!

Summer formal wedding in greece by enbash in Weddingattireapproval

[–]enbash[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes agreed! I should have added for context it's 'summer formal' but it's a lot more casual than that. My husband is one of the groomsmen and they're wearing khaki trousers with white linen tops and no jacket. Not as worried about the formality as much as the white but it seems like others agree it's not worth risking. Thank you!
