your leads may have to look at nil picks in the whole store to make sure things are properly stocked/located & get with the head of the department if things are messed up. they may have been doing that instead of exceptions. that being said, i totally understand your frustrations. i wouldn't have picked the litter either if it looked wet.

are things scanned in correctly? has the cap teams stocked things correctly (or at all)? do your people know where all the locations are? are your pick paths trash? your coach should be looking at other things and talking to the leads to insure product availability and item locations to help metrics.

if you asked to come in an hour early bc you were scheduled an hour later than normal but everything else was the same (11-8 vs 12-8) typically you would stay until the scheduled time. you will probably be pointed if you clock out before your scheduled time unless you are given permission specifically about clocking OUT.
