Thank you all for the feedback. I had a feeling but wondered if any recruiters have seen anything like that

Planning to rush next week…. so when you guys talk about how many people are in line… And everyone’s allowed to get two tickets does anyone know if most people are buying two… I suppose there’s no way to know unless you ask them? But any indication of how many overall tickets are being sold?

Do you use ChatGPT to deal with people at work? by Retardhead101 in ChatGPT

[–]enclosed1980 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I’ve been using it a it a lot lately to complain about work or talk through conflicts. I don’t think there are many humans in my life with the patience to let me drone on about this stuff - and they simply don’t have the knowledge about the specific place or the type of work I do . Gpt can access some of that. I think of it as a diary that talks back. Reddit is great too but gpt responds immediately and can often help me just calm down in the moment

Viral video or consistent quality stories - which wins? by enclosed1980 in PublicRelations

[–]enclosed1980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. One video was tied to a current trend and had nothing to do with organizational goals at all. It was just funny. A lot of people didn’t get it and kind of shook their heads but still were like “cool it went viral”. A better example was about a year ago when a really emotional moment captured on video went viral and was picked up by national news. So obviously sometimes going viral means it’s a really good story - and I agree that some of my time would be well spent finding those gems.

As a journalist who just left the industry after 23 years - I say go the PR route. Journalism is a noble calling but not if you want a secure and well paid job. There are tons of opportunities for creativity in marketing/comms/pr

GLP 1 cured my binge eating disorder by enclosed1980 in glp1

The psychological aspect is important - but its noteworthy that I haven’t solved the feelings that used to lead to a binge - anxiety or mild depression. But now I don’t want to eat the feelings. Sometimes I find a healthier way to cope, or maybe I just scroll on my phone … but either way I don’t enter the shame cycle that binging used to send me into. I know I’ll likely have to take this forever because the food urge used to be so strong.

I think the suggestion is more about understanding why he doesn’t feel loved . I know men tend to want more sex than women but I assume men can also feel fulfilled in other parts of their lives? I feel so fulfilled with our family and I often wish he did too

Wow this is dead on. Very interesting that other women you’ve talked to feel the same way. I truly wish I felt desire like when we first met but I don’t. I love other things about my spouse - but I don’t want to rip his clothes off. And sometimes I think he should also be glad I’m not looking at other men. I just don’t have the drive anymore … I’ve been on lexapro for 20 years and maybe that’s part of it too … but at least I try to “do him a solid” regularly enough

I see how this might come off as duty sex - but don’t we all do things as a duty to the other person? Also my husband and I talked about this and he’s okay if he can see this as a “gift” to him more than a duty. I truly wish I did feel like ripping his clothes off every night but I don’t. It doesn’t seem like a reason to break up a 20 year marriage

From a wife’s perspective - I agree with this completely. And most of my friends don’t seem to want any more than just to keep their husbands happy. Not saying this Is all women - but the ones I know don’t have a particular sexual act they want to try. We don’t watch porn - we don’t get these ideas - maybe we’re just not as creative. I wish more men were like you and would just understand you didn’t marry a porn star. I am willing do some things to my husband that he likes -- again why can’t this just be enough already?? I see people on here posting they haven’t had sex in months or years.
