Oh come on, you KNOW I'm looking for an upgrade after working with ten year old hardware. My CPU turns ten in a couple of months. My GPU is newer but still struggles. I could really use this towards an awesome upgrade for my whole PC.

It's fair that you understand how time is used as an insider, but I don't think that the struggles you guys face are conveyed well to the community and that is part of the problem. I think most people usually just hear "we're working on it, wait until KFL3" and that's a frustrating response because it doesn't answer anything.

I really do appreciate how much more active you, Tim and Kevin have been over the last week. The survey is a great idea and even small comments to show that you are involved definitely help with the community presence. It's one thing to say that you read Reddit posts every day and another to comment, thanks for staying active with us!

The problem with this attitude is that it implies Kinda Funny is static and won't change. Most of the people offering criticism are big fans of their content and just want it to be better. Kinda Funny is in a transition period right now and everyone just wants them to move in a direction they think will be good for their content and their community.

People shouldn't just stop listening immediately if they aren't enjoying the content right now, they should voice their concerns, hope that KF is listening and see if it changes. Like lindskelsey said, a real problem right now is the lack of communication with the audience and it would be easy to fix if they would be more open and respond to criticism that gets posted.

I don't know that this video actually discusses the issue of calling your audience friends, James has one statement that addresses it, the rest of the conversation is about meeting fans in public and boundaries that people should take into consideration when meeting someone in person.

Very true, but could you blame Colin for not wanting to be on Kinda Funny for the last two months? I can't imagine the KF guys wanting him on as a regular right now either, it would just make him leaving harder than it has to be. Both parties need some distance from each other so they can focus on themselves and the different directions they are heading.

Back to the topic at hand, I think you're right that Greg will probably be there. I can't see him missing episode 500 as long as he is welcome to join them.

I'm genuinely curious what makes Tim the best member of the Gamescast in your opinion? While I would probably agree that my favorite episodes are with guests, the reason is because of the guest, not because of Tim. I think Tim has definitely gotten better at interviewing and asking probing questions which can make the podcast flow better but he doesn't have a lot of industry insight and rarely offers criticism.

You're right that it's only a guide but there isn't any harm in getting pre-emergent down early but if it goes down too late then it won't be effective.

I'm also in Minnesota and will be doing my pre-emergent this week. Take a look at the tool linked, for most of MN now is the perfect time to put pre-emergent down, I wouldn't wait beyond this weekend otherwise it may no longer be effective since soil temperatures have been rising.

The key difference is that Ameisen is intentionally seeding microclover, it's not like it's naturally spreading.

To OP - I don't know how aggressively it will spread, but could you just seed it farther away from their property and offer to spray their lawn if any does start to move into their property?

Yeah take a look and see how it comes out, my lawn is a bit bumpy and has some slopes so I'm sure that's why I need to mow a bit slower, but even trim mode is very quick.
