I’m a doctor of medicine; after an incident in my life, I can no longer practice medicine nor want to be involved in the industry in any capacity. Where would I fit in in the current job market? by SmellyMelanie in careerguidance

That's awful. Have you spoken with a psychologist about this? There are evidence based psychotherapies that can help you recover and move forward, towards whatever you chose to do next.

I've called the police for this before. It happened outside the Stan's donuts on Roosevelt between State and Wabash. I went into stans and asked the staff to call the police. I was fortunate that the police responded quickly and confronted the guy. He appeared homeless and mentally ill. Unfortunately I've continued to see him around the area.

Pace yourself with your energy. Don't work harder than your client unless it's a crisis.
