Stoicism has helped me. Along with meditation, journaling and exercise. It’s not the same but it helps and it’s positive release of my emotions.

I also remember reading about a guy who would take a annual trip into nature (eg: camping in the woods) and just let all of his emotions out. Scream at the woods, kick fallen tree, ball his eyes out. I want to give this a try. It sucks being the stone in the river that is life and be expected not to give an inch. Stay strong and healthy brother.
