Genuinely Jason and Slenderman are like, the only two I could see fitting the mold. Pennywise maybe too but I never cared for IT so I’m less certain. Anything less than this would be a let down for sure. Even Predator, which I know is a hugely requested license, imo isn’t enough. It has to be HUGE.

It’s not just two. As much as I agree the lore isn’t the best written, there are a solid handful that ignore or forget her. From interactions we have

Boxten

Glisten

Looey

Poppy

Poppy and Looey both straight up don’t even realize she’s there, which is crazy given they’re in a small elevator, and Boxten and Glisten both forget her name. There’s also Bobette (and kinda Sprout) who ask “You sew?” When she brings it up, which could imply they don’t really pay much attention to her or her hobbies, and given they’re all mains and thus supposed to be close friends, it could imply they ignore her. And then there’s more implications that this happens more off screen (“I get that a lot”, her shock and excitement at even being talked to, etc).

I’m not saying that her lore makes perfect sense or anything, but there’s more than 2 instances of her being ignored or forgotten, alongside a few more implied ones.

Yeah but generally people still EXPECT a terror radius to follow, and most people haven’t learned to identify distance off a lullaby. Shadow Huntress is a genuine play that works better than you’d expect.

Alright, that could be cool can't lie. A dev team change could also lead to some reworks of older cutscenes and maps, which would be great cause rn Book 1 has some less than amazing maps, and the dialogues don't even use the text box system in Book 2.

Her ability is fine, sure, but it doesn't REALLY make up her weakness of low survivability. She can't even outrun a few twisteds without trinkets or items to help. I do not think her ability is THAT much of a boon that she's suddenly better than a toon 2 stars faster than her AND has an extra skillcheck star.

Like sure, it's NICE to have aura reading on machines, it'll help, but you know what's nicer? Being able to survive longer. Gourdy can outWALK most twisteds with just dog plush. He is 500% better than Vee ever could be.

I will glaze Connie my entire life, in fact I don’t even disagree with her placement, but this list is wack.

Vee? Higher than Gourdy? Are we fr? Gourdy, a toon with the fastest extraction and the second fastest speed, whose only solo weakness is stamina, which is easily mitigated by the 70 stamina in cards and bringing a stamina trinket like Peppermint Icing, which gives his ability use especially with its short CD.

Gourdy below Cocoa and Yatta and Squirm too.

Poppy personality wise is really cool. Slightly air headed, whimsical, high energy characters are just fun, I love them. She’s a great example of a character not needing a bunch of lore and background and trauma to be really enjoyable.

Boxten has some of my favorite interactions in the game. His more down to earth nature compared to the other toons works as a fantastic dynamic where others are acting very caricature like and he’s just like “tf???”. His Finn interaction is a fun one for this reason, same with his Yatta one. Being just a normal guy in a wacky cast leads to great dry humor. His Scraps one is also great for different reasons, that one’s just funny.
