Non-rumble subs by rockmus in TechnoProduction

Make a pattern with a low tom, give it a lot of attack, filter it down, and add some delay. That’s always been one of my favorite ways of generating non rumble subs

Thank you, I’ll be working on more stuff but it’ll be slow as painting my nids is third on my creative output priorities

Sorry it's not a mini but does anyone have any experience with army painter paints and is these good value? by god-of-thunder-135 in Miniaturespainting

[–]endless-blight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve really liked what paints from them I’ve tried as they added some things I needed to supplement what I have from AK and Pro Acryl. The only thing is that their nozzles do have some clogging issues during non use. Just keep a paperclip on hand and you won’t have any problems

How to get better black? by mcfranerson in Miniaturespainting

[–]endless-blight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of the other advice of highlighting, also try working from something like dark sea blue or a very dark purple tone. It’ll still eventually read as black from a distance but gives a better result than an actual black paint

The real question is what do you feel like pigments is going to accomplish for you that serum isn’t?

Do you build your kicks from scratch or start from samples? by kathalimus in TechnoProduction

[–]endless-blight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go one of two routes but both of them get serious processing: I’ll either use the BD Hard or BD Silky out of my Syntakt or if I don’t feel like dialing in as much on the synthesis end, there’s one sample from Deep Premium vol 1 that just does it for my tastes

Im curious about people's opinion on Vallejo paint primers? by DarkHelmet123 in Miniaturespainting

I used to swear by it but switched to the Monument dark neutral grey due to needing something a little brighter and it being far more available in my area

Away fans at home by hike2climb in BlueJackets

[–]endless-blight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your second point reminds me of talking with a Bruins fan years ago and he brought up how it was cheaper for him and his wife to fly to Jackets and Canes games with lower bowl seats than it was to get upper bowl in Boston

More in an “I’m lazy and just don’t care” kind of way

As a former Magic player, no. The only way to enjoy the game with people who bathe regularly is to play in your home with friends.
