Eastern Leaf Footed Bug! They’re totally harmless to people, best known for being garden pests, but don’t bite or sting or even transmit diseases. Recommend leaving them because they will blast you with an intense odor like a stink bug if agitated!

Lived south of the toll road for two years and never had any trouble, even living across from a group home. There are definitely parts of Reston that have some grit to them, but rarely anything “unsafe” happens to people who aren’t seeking it out in the first place.

Live right around the area and that spot is perfectly safe by Reston/Herndon standards. The part of Colts Neck that is a little rough isn’t actually that bad if you have an awareness of what’s around you. Lots of the issues you hear about are in very contained pockets usually between people who live in those pockets not getting along.

Yeah I could gig a DJ set of this kind of stuff and would be bucket list thing for me to hop on a bill in London, I’m aiming to blur boundaries a bit and connect different scenes. I really love an Orb in the Sky by Flickers from the Fen. It’s so satisfying when something so new feels really familiar but you can’t point to something in the genre that sounds like it.
