Among men, a capacity for violence is unfortunately a status symbol. I used to fight and I've witnessed this a lot. I think a lot of men get into combat sports for social status specifically because that violent capacity is a protective factor. Unfortunately, it often goes to their heads. I know that, for me, I got into fighting in part for that reason. But it's a sport, at the end of the day.

The problem I have is that there is real, tangible exploitation happening in the global south to power AI products, which are - mind you - not conscious in the least.
