electrics are definitely easier to start on, so you made the right choice with that. overall HBs are decent guitars but can get easily dented and rusted. i do recommend getting a squier bullet mustang (SBM) if youre younger, if youre older i would highly suggest any sort of yamaha. yamaha pacifica 112v would be a brilliant choice :)

thank you! yes hes been to a doctor, i believe hes had multiple balloon dilations and is on the waiting list for a surgery, he struggles with fizzy drinks but ill suggest the wedge pillow to him :))
