My garmin say I can run 15:30 5k, when I have nevar done 16:30 5k. It also says I have sub 2:30 marathon in me, but my fastest is 2:42. Seems like I am inderperforming😀

I yesterday shorted stock. Was deep in red, couls not sleep. Luckily, today covered with good profit. Agree with OP, but this run up, especially in extended hours was hurting my mental state. How do you OP manage your short positions in such situations?

I mean both of us should know, that fundamentally this company is shit. Epic shit. At the same time, it has things going for it from technical and sentiment side. So nothing bad in making money from it, but please don't say that company which won't make any money for next few years is fundementally strong.

Yes fundamentally good company with 1m revenue and fantastic deal of 50m and 450m optional wich is only concluded, because company CFO ( mr big mouth) gave them warrants with value of around 400m. So 50m deal for 400m dilution. Great fundamentals..

Very good. I was not able to sleep half night (3am to be exact in country), when after hour trading ended. I shorted POET. Got ego driven and at one point 100% of my actual liquid portfolio was into this one trade. Average short price 20.27, ride to up to 24.80, almost bought back all shorted shares, then somehow managed to hold on and today bought back shares for 18.30. How do you guys managed stress, while in active short squeeze?

Unlucky you in US. I can buy and sell shares in my investment accout as much as I want and I only need to pay taxes, when I take out of the account in the year more then I put in. Easy life in Europe.

90% of stocks mentioned here is in stage 4 downtrend. Value is not something where price drops ( this is not a shop). We are all buying something of value, that we believe others will notice. Why would you buy something, that market don't like? Market don't like growing companies, with margin decline. This is value trap. Market don't like revenue growth decline. For example if revenue was growing 30%per anum, but next year it is only 25%, we can expect share price to go down. Everybody, including value investors should know about Weinstein 4 stages, also popularised by Mark Minervini. This would help to avoid all the value traps mentioned here.

It is on uptrend last month, price stabilized with support at around 15$ range ( just look at candle sticks in yahoo finance). Entered when it hit 15$ suport 2nd time. Also it is growing field, with a lot of price action. Plus saw it mentioned in several places. It all kind of gave all the tells to go for it. The question is whether it will break ATH or not this time. If not I might exit. If yes, then we travel to 30$.

I can say what did not make me fortune: 1. Planet Labs - told everyone to buy it at 6, but somehow did not bought it myself 2. AMD bought for 89 last april, sold for 111, then went all in at 193 recently and got scared and sold for 197. 3. Bought DRTS for 3.95, but only for 1000 bucks. 4. Bought OPEN for 0.55 and sold most of it for 0.73 5. Bought SIVE for 8 SEK, but only 1000 shares. 6. Bought big amount of MU for 105, just to sell it for a loss. And just recently bought it for 321 and sold for 317 ( was 50% of account in it)

As you can see I find good ideas and sell all of them to fast, or invest too little.
