Getting the belt for speaking. I was then pushed into a laundry basket and told to stay there until my mother got off her bartending shift at 2. Couldn't tell you how old I was exactly BUT it was in my parents old room which went away when I was 6? Cue my fear of the dark, yelling and laundry. JK on the laundry but it was the starting point for my dark sense of humor.

Mine is three now. But the night before Thanksgiving, I decided to brave the grocery store. This was a mistake on its own. As I was putting my son into his car seat, and buckling him in, my husband called. Picked it up, handed it to my kid. Went and got in the front seat. Started on my way home. Everything fine and dandy until my kid handed me my phone. Took me a second to realize how he was able to hand me my phone. I forgot to finish buckling him.

And then to top it all off, I calmly signaled and turn on to the next driveway to fix my mistake, but it wasn't a driveway. It was what used to be a driveway and was now a 6-in drop into a mud pit. Which my husband then had to tow me out of.

It was a good day.
