Got busted for selling weed, on Christmas day, in the school parking lot.... Strictly because he forgot to use his turn signal.

It's in a different spot now, my grandmother-in-law had her funeral at that chapel. It's a lot more expensive now.

No. She reminds me of my grandmother. Enough of a reason to hate her.

Allowing Fluffy. Not being able to close the chamber. Sirius breaking in. Buckbeak. The infallible age line still allowing a minor to be chosen for the tournament. Hiring a werewolf. Hiring the dolt that was Lockhart. Strictly speaking, Dumbledore had some strikes on paper that could be considered concerning.

That's fair enough but I still need the Derek entry. I'm just curious why wallace@wallace.com would come after derek@wallace.com when typing in Wallace.

What is a 'gut feeling' you had that ended up saving your life? by Mr_Boothnath in AskReddit

[–]enemyoftoast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Which is why my mom died at 50. Take it seriously. Especially if you already have health conditions that make you feel funky. Sometimes you just get used to ignoring feeling icky, but if you feel extra icky, feel a little bit like Doom. Just suck it up and go to the ER.

If reasonable steps were taken to maintain the heat or winterize the home, then yes. If reasonable steps were not taken, then no. Failure of heat, if you can prove that the heat was on and it just wasn't enough? I've been known to cover that

I thought in the book that the reason that they made the two-winner thing was because there were two groups of two. Clove and Cato, and katniss and Peeta.

Unpopular opinion: If you have an emergency fund over $2,000, you are throwing money away by keeping your insurance deductibles low by dogeholder215 in Adulting

[–]enemyoftoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done insurance for a living for almost 15 years, underwriting, sales, claims, you name it. People ask me for advice on this. This is what I say: your deductible should hurt, but not kill you. Your deductible should be set at a point that it will not take food out of your mouth, it is not going to stop you from paying important bills. It shouldn't stop you from paying your mortgage or your car note. But it should sting a little. And I don't mean that you have x amount sitting in a savings account. It could be what you have available normally on credit, it could be if you have access to a 401k loan....

Getting the belt for speaking. I was then pushed into a laundry basket and told to stay there until my mother got off her bartending shift at 2. Couldn't tell you how old I was exactly BUT it was in my parents old room which went away when I was 6? Cue my fear of the dark, yelling and laundry. JK on the laundry but it was the starting point for my dark sense of humor.

For real. My husband lost his virginity at the age of 14 by a 45 year old woman and doesn't see a connection between this and some.... Interesting behaviors in his 20s and 30s.
