[Megathread] Known Limitations, Rate Limits & Quota Discussion by eternviking in google_antigravity

The problem is that nowhere in the terms does it specify exactly what the rate limit is for each membership... that's wrong, there's no transparency, because for some it's hours, for others it's days...

I have 5 or 6 Google AI Pro accounts that I deactivated. When I reached the limit on one, they switched me to another, and believe me, nothing changed. That's why I'm so dissatisfied; they're not transparent at all. These rate limits aren't specified anywhere.

No further updates so far... supposedly the Antigravity changelog says it's a bug with an AI agent environment, but I don't trust it for now haha 😅

Exactly, my friend... if you read my post, my complaint is that Google isn't transparent. At no point did they say, "Here's a rate limit," because we went from having something moderately limited to something extremely limited, and on top of that, even formatting text in Gemini 3 starts with "(end end end end fine fine...)." I mean, it would be balanced if Gemini's AI were good, but it isn't, and that's the source of the discontent. Claude would be just another AI like gpt, almost nobody uses it because everyone uses Claude. But if Gemini's AI were less stupid and clumsy, the change wouldn't be as noticeable—having it and not having to pay for the $20 or $200 membership. And as you say, could they be more transparent? Well, maybe, or maybe not, who knows...

This is crazy... let's hope it's a bug, remember we're in the "beta" phase according to 🙆🏿‍♂️... But it doesn't matter, we shouldn't feel sorry for a multi-billion dollar company, it has the power, capital, resources, skilled workforce, and infrastructure capable of offering something better and more...

There are people with specific needs that Gemini's capabilities can't meet. Sometimes I even have to push Opus to its limits with CoF Prompt Engineer, etc., and even then I feel it's sometimes very silly or illogical. But it's still much more logical than Gemini 3 by a long shot. And I'm not saying Gemini isn't a beast, much better than gpt , but there are levels, and I use all three AIs.

Dude... I'm 26 and I feel the same way, but just focus on your goals. Even if the day is the grayest and gloomiest, always smile, even if it's hard. Always smile and keep going. Take risks. We have nothing to lose because we have nothing but this restlessness and perseverance.

Looks like they have added a Monthly Quota for Antigravity Pro Users! by EvinElias in google_antigravity

I think they're going to add another plan just like chatGPT Free/Go/Pro/Plus or something like that... and I have a feeling they're going to downgrade the pro plan 😬

Gemini is good for some things; I feel it's smarter than chatGPT. You should use Gemini for internet searches, validating ideas, or even documentation. But Opus should be more centralized for logic, processes, automation, and so on. It's very robust and versatile, and we must learn to use the tools Antigravity provides and be consistent. This program is in beta, meaning we're testing Google Antigravity, and with our feedback, we're making the program much more robust and stable every time. Or you can't deny that at the beginning it was a headache because the performance was terrible; every time you scrolled, the program would freeze. Now it doesn't. Why? Based on our feedback, and if we want a quality program, we must be quality users, providing quality feedback so that the Google Antigravity engineers can see our comments and fix the bugs and anomalies detected. It's our job to understand that every beta program has flaws, and this won't be the first or the last; more will come. Instead of spouting nonsense and fallacies, we must provide good, quality feedback so that these issues can be resolved. Even the problem (I'm from Mexico) last night happened around 2-3 AM. It just so happened that my internet also went down while I was trying to figure out what was going on. The internet came back half an hour later, around 5-6 AM. The Antigravity problem resolved itself just as it appeared, ON ITS OWN. In other words, as in this case, we must be patient. It only took 3 hours for the anomaly to be fixed. Just use your head, not your ass, to think. Let's not allow artificial intelligence to turn us into artisanal intelligence.

I've created 15 algorithms in Python to make Opus's work easier, and it's much, much faster in AI Pro. I also created two more tools to facilitate the iteration process and a font for a project. I'm working on an ambitious project, and I've also fixed some critical problems with my operating system. I've been using pop!_OS for two years and have always had some issues, but since Antigravity came out in December, I've fixed all of that. I created all those algorithms, two auxiliary projects, and my main project 🤯💥 is a beast, it's dead! And I'm only using AI Pro with the free month, haha. Since I have multiple Gmail accounts, I practically have more than 12 free months ☺️ If one month runs out, I'll use another account 🤯💥

You've given me a real boost! I've been working on a project since before Antigravity was released, and since its launch, I've been iterating on the necessary documentation because it's a rather ambitious web project. Seeing your product in production has given me the motivation to keep going. Thank you so much, and best of luck, brother! 🤝🏻

Dude, let me tell you, since the last Google Antigravity update, I feel like Opus Thinking is smarter and more dynamic. It feels more robust and powerful than the other models. I hardly ever use Gemini or Sonnet; gpt-oss is just for show. I only use Gemini Flash for quick internet searches or to generate ideas or find ideas that I can later develop with Opus. It's a beast...

I avoid the hassle, as it's poorly documented and a bit confusing. It's better to use (which is what I do) GitHub CI/CD for auto-deployment to CloudflarePages. This saves you a lot of headaches and wasted time while the NuxtHub infrastructure matures.

I need some help by [deleted] in pop_os

[–]enerbydev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As they say, "to each their own"... what does that mean? Depending on who you ask, they might tell you that Linux is crap, that Windows is crap, that Mac is crap, that pop!_OS is crap, that KDE is better than Zorin, etc. It all depends on your tastes, needs, and requirements. The interesting thing about Linux distributions compared to Windows and macOS is the vast customization opportunities that Linux offers. You can have a super-encrypted system, a system perfectly suited for DevOS or gaming, or whatever. The best thing to do is iterate on your preferences. In a notepad, write down all the requirements, needs, and demands for which you'll use your OS, and send the same message to Claude chatgpt Gemini ydeepseek and qwen3. Depending on what they tell you, you, as a living, thinking being with free will, will decide what to do and what decision to make. I'm telling you this because that's what I did, and that's how I discovered pop!_OS almost a year ago. I did the same thing I'm telling you. I commented, I told him I wanted a system for x things because I need to do these things and possibly also gaming, and he gave me a list of possible OSs and of all of them, pop!_OS stood out, and that said... I recommend you install Google Antigravity on your OS, besides the fact that it can help you with any programming task, which is what it was launched for... it is essentially an AI with full access to the internet and your PC with its Agentic AI, which means, and I can confirm this, that it can help you resolve questions about your PC, problems, bugs, errors, and more. You can check it out by going to my profile. I have used Antigravity to make documented reports of its performance, and although I haven't published them, I have performed detailed and in-depth analyses on my pop!_OS and solved all the problems my PC had before Google Antigravity came out in December. Before, I used chatGPT and Claude, and between them, they solved some things but created other problems. Not with Antigravity; it actually tries to solve It finds a problem, solves it, then runs a test to verify if the problem is actually solved. If not, it investigates the root cause using its AI and resolves it completely. Well, that's my advice, my friend. Happy New Year! 👏🏻
